about us

wish your ex had been screened by a licensed therapist before your last relationship? same here.

little birdie matchmaking was created for singles who are ready for something more intentional. something that is more thoughtful than an app, more personal than a mixer, and more supportive that dating alone.

we bring more care and clarity into the dating process through therapist-led matchmaking, thoughtful screen, curated events, and a community of intentional singles.

our approach is selective, but not about status. we care about emotional readiness, values alignment, and whether someone is genuinely open to building something real.

erin

founder + matchmaker

as a licensed marriage and family therapist based in san diego, erin has spent years helping individuals and couples better understand their patterns in love, communicate more openly, and build relationships that feel secure, meaningful, and aligned.

through both her clinical work and personal life, erin has experienced the full spectrum of relationships — the deeply fulfilling, the misaligned, the growth-filled, and the painful. this lived experience, combined with her professional training, allows her to guide people with both insight and empathy, meeting them where they are while helping them move toward the relationships they truly want.

little birdie was born from a simple belief: dating doesn’t have to feel so overwhelming or disconnected. after years of witnessing how modern dating often prioritizes surface-level compatibility over emotional readiness, erin created little birdie to offer a more intentional, human-centered alternative: one that values shared values, emotional availability, and genuine compatibility over algorithms or endless swiping.

outside of her work, you’ll often find erin surfing, climbing, practicing yoga, playing music, or spending time in nature… experiences that inform her belief that connection feels most natural when people feel grounded, open, and fully themselves.

with a thoughtful, grounded, and relational approach, erin curates introductions and experiences designed to help people connect more authentically and feel more like themselves in the process.

jenny

co-founder + head of brand

as a therapist, creative, and someone who loves building community, jenny cares deeply about helping people feel seen, connected, and understood. she leads little birdie’s brand, marketing, social media, and event experience while paying close attention to the details that help singles feel welcomed, emotionally supported, and comfortable showing up as themselves in a space where dating can already feel vulnerable.

jenny is especially passionate about building a sense of community around the dating experience. she hopes people do not just meet intentional singles through little birdie, but feel surrounded by others who understand the uncertainty, frustration, and vulnerability that can come with modern dating. through thoughtfully designed events, shared experiences, and relatable content, she helps create a space where people can feel less alone in the process.

in a dating landscape shaped by apps, algorithms, ai, and endless swiping, jenny believes human connection and self-awareness matter more than ever. she enjoys translating therapist-informed ideas about dating, relationships, and emotional patterns into content and experiences that feel approachable, honest, and useful.

through little birdie, jenny hopes to bring together therapist-informed insight, intentional matchmaking, and genuine community so dating can feel more human, reflective, and supported. her vision is to create a space where people can learn more about themselves, connect meaningfully with others, and move through modern dating with greater clarity and intention.
